Ahhh 😱 so here I go again

When it comes to reading I am very adventurous … I even throw in some YA at times. I just LOVE romance, the build-up, the courting the wooing the growth of a relationship, I like a Low Angst, NO Drama Romance and lots of Spice of course!  If it’s got romance in it, I’ll most likely read it. 15 + years ago, I began a blogging journey. Over the years I have changed with the times, it started with goodreads, opened a blog and then Facebook, And then Instagram. The one thing I didn’t follow the trend with was go to TikTok. I love Instagram, IG works for me because I love photos, graphics and short and sweet captions but then the dirty A word happened ! Yes 🙌 that word ALGORITHM it shitted all over our feeds. Everything went to shit, and IG became difficult. Let’s be honest some of us, me included were disheartened because as bloggers have been here for such a long time putting in countless hours and for then the new era off content creation to come along and just push us aside, some a...

Review: Rosemary and Rue

Rosemary and Rue by Seanan McGuire My rating: 4 of 5 stars Rosemary and Rue, is a urban Fantasy with a very small amount of romance, hoping which I am hoping to be more. Review: Marvel Powers of a Girl

Marvel Powers of a Girl by Lorraine Cink My rating: 5 of 5 stars Holy Moly, Can we please take a moment and appreciate the art work in this mammoth of a book. For a book I did not know that was coming out, I sure do love it. It is so big that it does not fit on my bookshelves, its literally the best piece of coffee table material. I love the way this book is set out, how we can discover more about our favorite lady superheroes. View all my reviews

Frozen 2: Forest of Shadows by Kamilla Benko My rating: 4 of 5 stars “Are you freaking kidding” said my daughter when this arrived. “THIS. IS. LIFE.” Ella and myself gobbled this up like a block of chocolate. We loved everything about this story, from the cover to the story inside. We loved the hidden myths, and extinct creatures. We overall just really enjoyed it. View all my reviews

Review: Captain Marvel: Higher, Further, Faster

Captain Marvel: Higher, Further, Faster by Liza Palmer My rating: 2 of 5 stars So, I did not enjoy this book at all. Carol Danvers, Captain Marvel was and still is cool in the movies, but reading about her bored me to tears. It to me felt unreal and so far from what actually happens in real life and that the author didn’t really look into what actually happens at an actual Air Force training, I think her side kick best friend was more enjoyable than actual Carol. Review: The Day Before

The Day Before by Micol Ostow My rating: 3 of 5 stars Based on the fun loving old comic books, we now have a book series to enjoy, have you ever wondered what the crew of Riverdale was doing before the season 1 of the successful CW show? This is the story for you, told from multiple points of view, from all your favorite characters. This is literally set the day before the beginning of the series. It was a enjoyable read, and would recommend kids, big and young to enjoy. View all my reviews
