This Fallen Prey By Kelley Armstrong Review

Hello, Hi *Waves*

Welcome to my little slice of the bookish community.

I am here today to tell you about  This Fallen Prey, by Kelley Armstrong book three in the Rockton, Casey Duncan Novels.

Blurb From Amazon

In This Fallen Prey, the next installment of New York Times bestselling author Kelley Armstrong’s thriller series, Casey Duncan is about to face her toughest job as police detective in Rockton yet.
When Casey first arrived at the off-the-grid town, an isolated community built as a haven for people running from their pasts, she had no idea what to expect, with no cell phones, no internet, no mail, and no way of getting in or out without the town council’s approval. She certainly didn’t expect to be the homicide detective on two separate cases or to begin a romantic relationship with her boss. But the very last thing she expected was for the council to drop a dangerous criminal into their midst without a plan to keep him imprisoned, and to keep others safe.
Of course Oliver Brady claims he's being set up. But the longer Brady stays in town, the more things start to go wrong. When evidence comes to light that someone inside Rockton might be working as his accomplice, helping him to escape, Casey races to figure out who exactly Brady is and what crimes he’s truly responsible for committing.
In the next page-turning entry in Kelley Armstrong’s gripping series, life in Rockton is about to get even more dangerous.

My Review.

THOUGHTS
CONTAIN SPOILERS!

Murder, Mayhem in a small town!

Straight away, again I was emerged in this town, and when it was over I pulled up the 4th one. Because Kelley has me pulled in and  so hooked, I am obsessed!

In this book, the gang is back + a serial killer!
This was an intense story, Rockton will never be the same again.

Rockton is this isolated very off the grid town, some where in the wilderness of Canada.
Where victims can hide, and create a new life for themselves. A new star at life. The only thing is, it has a council of douches and they do the worst thing ever, agreed to take on Oliver Brady, a suspected serial killer. they want the town of Rockton to hold him fort he next 6 months. they did this because of money!

Casey and Eric are in for a wild ride, so many deaths, twists and turns. This Fallen Prey was legit creepy, and so captivating I couldn't put it down. I adore the audio books, I just loved this one a lot. Armstrong has created one of the best series ever, with a mix of thriller, romance and survival. You will be hooked, You cant not root for Casey and Eric and their backwards town!

This isolated town, with no modern amenities is one town I wouldn't love to visit but I kind of want to. Storm is a little older now and she is everything.
There were many times where my heart in my throat.

I had the chuckles at times, I was gasping with fright and I was just not ready for all that was unfolded. It was that good, I still think the council are a bunch of money hungry douches, up to something. Oliver Brady was the worst thing to happen to this Rockton, you guys have to read it to find out what happens. When one thing after another starts going wrong, and then they have a serial killer on the loose.

I love how the pace is quick, and the romance between Eric and Casey is on point.

With a scheming serial killer in town, you don't know who is safe. Because there were so many death in this one, I feel that the dynamic's for Rockton are going to change.

For the settlers,hostiles... and with more lies its such a epic story. When it ended you are left like WTF!

I just need to touch base again with Eric and Casey, because they are easily becoming one of my favourite couples ever. They are working together so well, opening up to each other more, loving on each other more, they would literally die for one another but now they do their best to live for each other.

Overall This Fallen Prey is action packed, and I mean that action packed that you will be on your edge of seat, pacing with worry.  Reading this book could be a standalone, but I wouldn't do that or recommend that, read the previous two and catch and enjoy this series.

I cant wait to see what happens next, I want more Jacob, Anders and Nicole, Isabelle, and even Matthias, and another puppy!

Like I have said before. ''Rockton is ONE crazy town! I really enjoyed being submerged in the who, why and when of everything, I was really drawn into this story. I loved going along with Casey trying to figure out who the killer was, the town is filled with ex convicts lol So it literally could be anyone!''

IT WAS BLEEP !

OMG I can not even, I was speechless!

5/5 Stars
