The Kiss Quotient by Helen Hoang
Well, this book. I am not even sure where to start to be honest, this book has so much buzz surrounding it and its also been a my most anticipated reads of the year list. It was the perfect blend of sweet and steamy, and some drama. But for me I couldn’t connect. I liked the characters enough, I just didn’t love it like so many others have.
Overall, I really enjoyed my time reading it, it was fast paced which I really enjoy, the romance its self wasn’t enough for me. I loved the representation of Stella being autistic. I liked Michael, he was enjoyable. It is a very easy read and I appreciate that.
Each to their own, that’s the way I look at it. I am defiantly looking forward to seeing how the next book is like.
I just wished I had loved the plot as much as everyone else has, the escort thing was what bugged me the most. For Helens debut and winning Romance of the year award on goodreads is spectacular. I understand now the hype and buzz surrounding TKQ.
