Review The Liar by Nora Roberts

Hello, Hi & Welcome.

Get cosy, Welcome again to my little slice of the bookish community.

blurb:
In a “sexy, suspenseful read,” #1 New York Times bestselling author Nora Roberts delivers “a slow-burning fuse of a plot that ultimately explodes in a nail-biting conclusion.”*

Shelby Foxworth lost her husband. Then she lost her illusions…

The man who took her from Tennessee to an exclusive Philadelphia suburb left her in crippling debt. He was an adulterer and a liar, and when Shelby tracks down his safe-deposit box, she finds multiple IDs. The man she loved wasn’t just dead. He never really existed.

Shelby takes her three-year-old daughter and heads south to seek comfort in her hometown, where she meets someone new: Griff Lott, a successful contractor. But her husband had secrets she has yet to discover. Even in this small town, surrounded by loved ones, danger is closer than she knows—and threatens Griff, as well. And an attempted murder is only the beginning...

My Thoughts.
 Oh Boy!
This story was so darn good. Like I loved it so very much.
Shelby is a young, now widower of a small little girl, While "grieving"  she was learning that her husband lied to her, betrayed her. Shelby find out so much that's its overwhelming. He is scum. Shelby is amazing, strong, has amazing self worth and incredible strength. Determined to repay her idiot of a husbands debts, but while she is trying to sort her new life out, she decides to move back home to where her family lives in Tennessee to a small town.

Griff is an AMAZING hero, I adore him and he is so loving and caring, and strong and exactly what Shelby needs. He is so beautiful with Shelby's daughter. It took my breathe away. I loved the relationship he builds with Shelby and her daughter. I like how he was smitten with both of them, and he knew that they were going to be his.

What I loved too, was Shelby has the most lovable family bonds. Truly this book was written so very well. I never wanted the story to end. I cried, I giggled and I was shook with the twist and turns Nora put us through.

Since I was more about the relationship and romance building between them, I was happy with how sexy this was, yet mature and they talked like real adults. It was refreshing to read. I loved the suspense, it was well crafted and Nora is so good at building drama during the story. I had some thoughts who the creepy dude was, but then I didn't and I was well surprised with the ending. It had the perfect blend of everything I love.

5/5 Stars.

I can not praise this book enough, We read The Liar for our Nora Roberts book club. I can not wait to read another Suspense Romance book by Nora.
