Review: Tossed Into Love

Tossed Into Love by Aurora Rose Reynolds My rating: 3 of 5 stars Tossed Into Love, What a small kind of tiny little let down this was. I will admit I love my romance, I am a romance junkie but this in the beginning was not what I was expecting, I really loved the previous two books in the series, and this one didn't meet that standard. Libby Reed and Antonio Moretti is what this one is all about. Libby has had the biggest crush on Ant, and Ant has been the biggest douche towards her. He is legit the most arrogant jerk I have read about in a wee whiles. He is a firefighter and his parents own a pizza shop, that he hates. With his dad suffering from a heart attack and his Mum beside him along the way to becoming better, the pizza shop is left to him to take care of, and that's where Libby come into it more, she loves his family and is wanting to help by volunteering her time to help out where she can. Overall you watch them fall in love, it is ...

Review: Save the Date

Save the Date by Morgan Matson My rating: 3 of 5 stars Save The Date, by Morgan Matson. This is the first book I have read by this author, and I liked it. This was cute, I really loved the family aspect. Honestly I went into this book blind, I didn't really know much about it. It was Fun, light hearted, it has a big loud family. Though I also found that this book was a little long, 400 pages and the plot was dragged out, when it didn't really need to be. I at times struggled connecting with the main character, it was weird one min I enjoyed her and the next I was like, gah your annoying me... The romance, I wasn't a fan, It also felt it came second to the actual plot, like a sub plot. Overall, it was solid 3 stars, its perfect for a lazy day, perfect for summer. Would totally recommend it for something a little light hearted fun. but go in with caution, you may not enjoy it. View all my reviews

Review: Dirty-Talking Cowboy

Dirty-Talking Cowboy by Stacey Kennedy My rating: 3 of 5 stars (I received an invitation to review this book from the publisher through NetGalley.) Dirty-Talking Cowboy was my first Stacey Kennedy read. Emma and Shep's story is packed with lovable characters, drama, humour and lots smoking' hot sex. Dirty-Talking Cowboy is book 1 of the Kinky Spurs Series but can be read as a standalone. This is a complete book, not a cliff-hanger View all my reviews

Review: The Start of Something Good

The Start of Something Good by Jennifer Probst My rating: 3 of 5 stars The Start of Something Good, is a new book and a new series by the one and only Jennifer Probst! I wasn't sure when I started this one, I haven't read this authors work in a long time. but I was surprised that I really enjoyed it. An enemies to lovers story. A wounded solider *sigh* and uptight PR shark... I found this was a decent read, I didn't love or hate it, I think my tastes over the years have changed, every Probst fan is going to love this one! Review: Must Love Babies

Must Love Babies by Lynnette Austin My rating: 2 of 5 stars No! Cute covers, especially with babies and a good looking dude on the cover dose not mean you are going to love or like. The writing wasn't bad, I hated the heroine and I couldn't connect with her at all, she was wishy washy, couldn't make up her mind, flirts and runs back and forth with her decision making. I felt like I was missing something as soon as I started the book, like it felt like there was huge backstory missing. The romance, meh. This was legit one of the most cleanest romances I have ever read, I just with the romance at all. I dunno if it was my mood or not, but I was looking forward to something different. Review: The One You Can't Forget

The One You Can't Forget by Roni Loren My rating: 4 of 5 stars 3.5 Stars This is my second book I have read by Roni Loren, first was the book before this one. Which I adored, I really loved. I wish, I really do wish I could say the same about this one. In this book we are with Rebecca, she is a fantastic divorce lawyer and works long hours, and for her fathers company. She is a Long Acre High shooting survivor. She is dealing with really bad PTSD and still has flashbacks. Wes Garrett, is one Fiiiine male, I really liked him. I liked him a lot. He is a chef, who is divorced and has lost everything, a recovering alcoholic and he is now sober and has taken a teaching job for a group of kids who need help. I liked Wes more then I liked Rebecca, I was glad to see it play out and how they over come there losses and moving forward. it is a fairly easy story, with hardly any drama. No cliffy, and I am eagerly waiting for the next book. but overall someth...
